Pakistan witnesses first Supermoon of 2026

Lahore (Web Desk): The first supermoon of the year has begun in Pakistan, and it can be observed in various cities across the country.

According to Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), the supermoon appears about 6 to 7 percent larger and 10 percent brighter compared to a regular moon. This captivating sight can be seen in cities such as Peshawar, Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, and other cities.

Experts suggest choosing areas with clear skies for the best experience of viewing the supermoon, ensuring a complete and unobstructed view.
