Beijing (Web Desk): China's electric vehicle manufacturing company BYD (Build Your Dreams) has surpassed Elon Musk's American company Tesla in terms of sales in 2025.
According to reports, BYD sold more than 2.25 million electric vehicles in 2025, while Tesla was able to sell approximately 1.6 million battery-powered vehicles last year.
Experts suggest that Tesla faced criticism and pressure due to Elon Musk's political activities, while the intense competition from the Chinese company BYD also impacted Tesla's sales.
BYD is currently one of the largest electric vehicle companies globally, not only producing electric cars but also cutting-edge battery technology, electric buses, and alternative energy solutions.
With its low-priced vehicles, advanced battery systems, and strong production capabilities, BYD is rapidly strengthening its position in the global market, resulting in tough competition for Tesla and other major automotive companies worldwide.
