Karachi (Web Desk): the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan experienced a significant increase, with the cost of one tola (11.66 grams) rising by Rs2,200.

Meanwhile, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs1,886, reaching Rs237,397, compared to the earlier Rs235,511.
Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs1,729, now priced at Rs217,614, compared to the previous figure of Rs215,885.
In contrast, silver prices remained stable, with one tola of silver still trading at Rs3,350 and the 10-gram unit at Rs2,872.08.
On the global front, gold saw a modest price increase, rising by $22 to $2,657 per ounce from the previous day’s rate of $2,635.
This uptick in international gold prices is likely influencing the local market, contributing to the recent hike in gold prices within Pakistan.
