Lahore (Web Desk): The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigation officer has submitted former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif’s property details to Accountability Court (AC).
According to the NAB report, letters were written to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) for Nawaz Sharif's assets.
The SECP revealed that that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo has shares in four companies.
The report said: “Nawaz Sharif owns 467,950 shares in Muhammad Bakhsh Textile Mills while 43,425 shares in Hudabia Paper Mills.”
The report further said that the number of shares of Nawaz Sharif in Hudabia Engineering Company is 22,213. Besides, Nawaz Sharif owns 48,606 shares in Ittefaq Textile Mills.
The report added that Nawaz Sharif has 8 accounts including 3 foreign currencies in various private banks.
The PML-N supremo has Rs 612,000 in five bank accounts, while foreign currency accounts have 566 Euros, 698 US dollars and 498 British pounds.
The reporte also quoted that Additional Deputy Commissioners of Lahore Development Authority (LDA), Lahore and Sheikhupura, Assistant Commissioner of Murree and Galyat Development Authority also reported that Nawaz Sharif and his dependents have properties in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Murree and Abbottabad.
Besides that Nawaz’s owns bungalow in Murree, a 15-kanal house in Changla Gali Abbottabad and a property on Upper Mall Lahore.
The former PM and his dependents also own more than 1752 kanals of agricultural land including, 936 kanals in Mouza Manak of Lahore, 299 kanals in Mouza Baduksani, 14 kanals in Mouza Mandiali of Sheikhupura district and 88 kanals in Mouza Feroz Watan.
According to the Excise and Taxation Office Lahore and Islamabad, 3 vehicles and 2 tractors are registered in the name of Nawaz Sharif. The former premier also own 1 Land Cruiser and 2 Mercedes cars.
