PM Shehbaz felicitates Ali al-Zaidi on his appointment as Prime Minister of Iraq

Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday extended congratulations to Ali al-Zaidi following his appointment as Iraq’s new prime minister.

In a message shared through his X account, the premier stated, “I extend my warm wishes to him as he assumes this important responsibility.” 

PM Shehbaz added that Pakistan was eager to engage closely with Iraq’s newly formed government in order to deepen bilateral cooperation and jointly work toward regional peace, stability, and economic prosperity. 

I congratulate my brother H.E. Mr. Ali al-Zaidi on his appointment as Prime Minister of Iraq. I extend my warm wishes to him as he assumes this important responsibility.
