Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices experienced a decline in the local market on Friday, with the rate of 24 karat gold per tola falling by Rs1,300.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the new price stood at Rs344,500, compared to Rs345,800 on the previous trading day.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold dropped by Rs1,114, bringing it down to Rs295,353 from the earlier Rs296,467.
The value of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also saw a reduction, decreasing to Rs270,740 from Rs271,771. In contrast, silver rates remained unchanged, with per tola silver steady at Rs3,427 and 10 grams priced at Rs2,938.
In the international market, gold prices saw a modest drop of $13, now standing at $3,263 as opposed to $3,276, while silver was recorded at $32.45.
