Islamabad (Staff Report/Agencies): Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday took notice of State Minister for Climate Change Zartaj Gul’s letter to National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) regarding her sister’s appointment.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister Naeemul Haque said Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed Gul to withdraw her letter written to (NACTA) regarding her sister’s appointment.
“The PM has directed that Zartaj Gul shud withdraw her letter written to NACTA regarding the appointment of her sister, Haque said in a tweet.
“This was against the ethics of PTI which has always opposed nepotism. No one in the PTI govt is can promote their relatives/friends by using their positions,” he added.

Earlier, the federal government has appointed Zartaj Gul's sister, Shabnam Gul, as a director of NACTA.
Shabnam was serving as an assistant professor at Lahore College for Women in Grade-18, however, all at once she was appointed as a director of the key counter-terrorism body of the country.
