Gold price decreases by Rs500 per tola in Pakistan 

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold experienced a decline over the weekend, with the per tola rate dropping by Rs500, settling at Rs300,000, down from Rs300,500.

According to Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold fell by Rs438, bringing it to Rs257,201 from the previous rate of Rs257,639.

The cost of 10 grams of 22 karat gold also saw a reduction of Rs393, decreasing to Rs235,776 from Rs236,169.

Silver prices also saw a downward trend, with the per tola rate decreasing by Rs10, reaching Rs3,240, while the price of 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs9, now priced at Rs2,777.

The fluctuations in the local market mirror the adjustments in international commodity prices.

Gold prices in the global market decreased by $6, dipping from $2,863 to $2,857, while silver also saw a drop, losing $0.9, with its price falling from $31.95 to $31.05.
