Gold price decreases by Rs2,500 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold experienced a decline of Rs2,500, with the per tola rate falling to Rs300,500 on Thursday, compared to the previous day’s price of Rs300,000.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw a drop of Rs2,143, settling at Rs257,639 from Rs259,773.

In a similar trend, the cost of 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased by Rs1,964, now priced at Rs236,169, down from Rs238,133.

The value of silver also saw a reduction, with the per tola price dropping by Rs64 to Rs3,250, while the price of 10 grams of silver decreased by Rs55, bringing it to Rs2,786.

On the global front, gold prices saw a minor dip of $24, moving from $2,887 to $2,863 per ounce, while silver prices also declined by $0.65, now standing at $31.14 per ounce.
