Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold per tola saw an increase of Rs400, rising to Rs292,200 on Saturday, compared to its previous value of Rs291,800.
According to All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association (ASSJA), the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs343, reaching Rs250,514 from Rs250,171.
In contrast, the cost of 10-gram 22-karat gold saw a slight uptick, moving from Rs229,331 to Rs229,646.
On the other hand, the price of silver faced a decline, with the per tola rate dropping by Rs30, settling at Rs3,270. The cost of silver in 10-gram units also decreased by Rs26, now priced at Rs2,803.
Internationally, the price of gold saw a modest rise of $5, climbing to $2,797 per ounce from the previous rate of $2,792, the association reported.
