Govt slashes petrol price by Rs2, diesel by Rs4.79 per litre

Islamabad (Web Desk): The government has announced reduction in fuel prices for the coming fortnight, cutting the petrol rate by Rs2 per litre from December 1.

A notification issued by the Petroleum Division on Sunday stated that the revised petrol price will stand at Rs263.45 per litre for the next fifteen days.

High-speed diesel has also become cheaper, with its price falling by Rs4.79 to a new level of Rs279.65 per litre.

The decision comes after the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and the concerned ministries put forward their recommendations.
