Govt cuts petrol price by Rs0.12, diesel by Rs0.66 per litre

Islamabad (Web Desk): The government has announced revised prices for petroleum products, introducing a slight reduction in the rates of both petrol and high-speed diesel.

According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the new prices will remain effective from August 1 to August 3.

Under the revised rates, the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs0.12 per litre, bringing it down to Rs336.03 per litre. Meanwhile, high-speed diesel has become cheaper by Rs0.66 per litre, with the new price set at Rs392.38 per litre.

The latest adjustment comes a day after petroleum prices were increased, when the government raised the price of petrol by Rs1.09 per litre and high-speed diesel by Rs2.42 per litre.
