104th Turkish Armed Forces Victory Day commemorated at GHQ

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): A ceremony to mark the 104th anniversary of the Turkish Armed Forces Victory Day was held at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the event highlighted the deep-rooted ties of friendship and brotherhood between Pakistan and Türkiye, based on shared values, mutual respect and decades of mutual support.

Participants at the ceremony paid tribute to the courage, dedication and sacrifices of the Turkish Armed Forces. They also reiterated their resolve to further enhance the longstanding defence cooperation and strategic partnership between Pakistan and Türkiye.

Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Irfan Neziroglu attended the ceremony as the Guest of Honour.

Senior military officers, officials from the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye and other distinguished guests were also present on the occasion.

The ceremony concluded with expressions of goodwill and best wishes for the people and Armed Forces of Türkiye.
