Gold price decreases by Rs4,100 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices continued their downward trend in Pakistan on Tuesday, as the value of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs4,100, bringing the new rate to Rs424,836. The updated prices were released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also recorded a decline of Rs3,515, settling at Rs364,228. Likewise, 10 grams of 22-karat gold became cheaper by Rs3,223 and was priced at Rs333,887.

A similar trend was observed in the international bullion market, where gold lost $41 per ounce, taking the global rate down to $4,024.

Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction. In the local market, the price of silver per tola climbed by Rs25 to reach Rs6,349, while 10 grams of silver increased by Rs22, closing at Rs5,443.

Globally, silver also posted gains, with its price rising by $0.25 per ounce to settle at $58.70, according to the association.
