Pakistan's first international driving license kiosk launched at Lahore airport

Lahore (Web Desk): Pakistan’s first-ever International Driving License kiosk has been established at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore. The facility was officially inaugurated by Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Dr. Athar Waheed.

Speaking at the inauguration, CTO Dr. Waheed stated that citizens can now obtain their international driving license within minutes before traveling abroad — a service being offered for the first time at any airport in Pakistan.

He emphasized that applicants must possess a valid regular (domestic) driving license to apply for an international one. In addition to license issuance, the kiosk also offers other driving-related services for passengers' convenience.

The CTO also announced plans to install similar kiosks at key traffic intersections across the city to assist traffic wardens. Furthermore, additional services will soon be integrated into the airport kiosk to enhance its utility.
