Afghanistan has become a terrorist safe haven, Eurasia Review validates Pakistan's security concerns

Kabul/Islamabad (Web Desk): The renowned international security journal Eurasia Review has expressed deep concern over the current situation in Afghanistan, validating Pakistan’s long-standing position on the issue.

According to the report, Afghanistan has once again become a safe haven for international terrorist organizations.

The report highlights that, allegedly under the patronage of the Afghan Taliban, terrorist elements are not only consolidating their strength within Afghanistan but are also carrying out activities that threaten stability across the region.

The journal warns that the Afghan Taliban regime is no longer merely an internal issue; it has emerged as a significant global security concern.

Currently, Afghan territory serves as a base for more than twenty terrorist organizations, coordinating their operations from within the country.

Pakistan has continuously informed the international community about cross-border terrorism originating from Afghanistan and the presence of banned groups in secure locations there.

The latest report from Eurasia Review validates these concerns, emphasizing that the policies of the Afghan Taliban pose a direct threat to the security of neighbouring countries, particularly Pakistan.

Analysts point out that the presence of terrorist groups in Afghanistan, coupled with alleged state support, represents a ticking time bomb for global peace. They warn that if immediate action is not taken, the repercussions will extend far beyond the region, affecting international security at large.
