Interior Minister Naqvi, Governor Kundi discuss KP law & order, counterterrorism operations

Islamabad (Web Desk): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Faisal Karim Kundi on Tuesday held a meeting in Islamabad to review province’s security situation and ongoing counterterrorism operations.

Governor Kundi outlined the challenges confronting KP, especially in the border regions where security forces are engaged in active operations against militant groups.

He stressed that peace in the province could only be achieved through close collaboration with the federal government.

During the meeting Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi assured the governor that the federal government would provide unwavering support, emphasizing that restoring stability in KP is a matter of national priority.

He commended the people of the province for their resilience and sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and warned that militants and their collaborators would not be spared.

The interior minister highlighted ongoing joint efforts to dismantle extremist networks, while Governor Kundi called for enhanced coordination and united action to confront the persistent threat of terrorism in the region.
