Govt increases petrol price by Rs6.51 per litre

Islamabad (Web Desk): The federal government has once again increased petroleum prices, raising the price of petrol by Rs6.51 per litre.

According to an official notification, the revised prices have come into effect immediately. The increase is expected to add further financial pressure on the public already facing rising living costs.

Officials said the adjustment in petroleum prices was made in view of fluctuations in global oil markets and the prevailing economic situation.
