Islamabad (Web Desk): On the recommendation of Pakistan’s National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Interpol has issued red warrants for the main accused in the Bahria Town case, property tycoon Malik Riaz and his son Ali Riaz Malik, according to sources.
Officials said the development has significantly advanced efforts to bring the accused back to Pakistan from abroad. With the issuance of red notices, legal proceedings to repatriate the suspects have formally been initiated.
Sources further revealed that NAB has already established contact with authorities in Dubai regarding the arrest and extradition of Malik Riaz.
Following the issuance of the Interpol red warrants, the process to bring the accused back to the country has now entered its legal and procedural phase.
Authorities stated that all legal requirements will be fulfilled in accordance with the law to ensure that the accountability process is taken to its logical conclusion.
