Chaman (Web Desk): At least three people, including Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Hanif, were killed and several others injured in an explosion in Chaman on Saturday.
According to police sources, the explosion left Maulana Hanif, a central leader of the JUI-F, critically injured who later succumbed to his injuries when he was being shifted to Quetta.
the bomb was an improvised explosive device (IED) which was planted in a motorcycle parked near Chaman’s Taj Road, the police sources added.
As per the rescue sources, the injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Chaman, where an emergency had been declared.
