Trump claims Iran wants deal as ‘talks are underway’, says Tehran has to open up 'Strait of Hormuz'

Washington (Web Desk): US President Donald Trump issued significant statements regarding the escalating situation in the Middle East and developments related to Iran.

Speaking to media, he stated that Iran is currently seeking a deal and that a process of negotiations is underway, with a concrete outcome expected soon.

However, he emphasized that strategically critical “Strait of Hormuz” has become a point of compulsion for Iran.
President Trump disclosed that despite the “Operation Midnight Hammer”, Iran continued to enhance its nuclear capabilities.

In a stern warning, he remarked that if Iran possessed a nuclear bomb, it could have used it against Israel.

The US president added that while no one expected Iran to launch a direct attack in the Middle East, the country is no longer capable of threatening or harassing any nation in the region.

Targeting America’s allies, particularly NATO, he criticized the alliance sharply, labeling it a “paper tiger”.

He claimed that NATO made a grave mistake by failing to support the US during challenging times, warning that such cowardly behavior would have far-reaching consequences.

Trump asserted that US strategic measures have now rendered Iran unable to pose a threat to any country in the Middle East.

The US president said that through ongoing negotiations, the US is moving toward a deal that will ensure long-term peace in the region while safeguarding American interests.
