Pakistan Army responds to unprovoked Afghan Taliban aggression along border: security sources

Islamabad (Web Desk): Pakistan Army carried out retaliatory strikes after unprovoked firing and aggression by Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

According to security sources, Pakistani Army targeted several positions in the Chaman sector across the border.

They added the armed forces are engaged in wide-ranging “full-scale operations” as part of their response to the hostile actions, adding that multiple enemy installations have been effectively destroyed during the ongoing action.

The security sources further said that Pakistani troops struck the Sarshan, Al-Marjan, and Edhi posts, along with an Afghan vehicle and additional infrastructure linked to the positions targeted in the operation.

Security officials emphasized that Pakistan’s military remains fully determined to safeguard the country’s borders and will continue to counter any threats posed by militants and their support networks.

They added that "The designs of terrorists and their patrons will be reduced to dust,” noting that Operation Ghazab Lil Haq will continue until all intended objectives are successfully completed.
