Islamabad (Web Desk): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced that passport office services will soon be introduced at NADRA Mega Centres to make the process more convenient and accessible for citizens.
During his visit to the NADRA Mega Centre in Gujranwala, the interior minister said that arrangements were being made to provide passport-related facilities at the centre in the near future.
He stated that expanding services at NADRA facilities would help citizens complete important documentation procedures more easily under one roof.
During the visit, Mohsin Naqvi interacted with citizens and personally inquired about their experiences regarding the issuance of identity cards.
The citizens appreciated the facilities available at the NADRA Mega Centre and expressed satisfaction with the overall system.
The visitors said that the process at the centre was comparatively quick, with applicants receiving their turns without having to wait for extended periods.
They also praised the improved arrangements and services being provided by the staff.
The interior minister inspected various counters at the facility and met with the officials and employees working there. He also reviewed the performance of the information desk and directed the staff to provide complete guidance and accurate information to citizens visiting the centre.
Naqvi emphasized that every possible step should be taken to assist people and ensure that they do not face difficulties while accessing government services. He instructed officials to maintain a citizen-friendly environment and improve service delivery.
The federal minister also took notice of complaints raised by some citizens during his visit and issued immediate instructions for their resolution.
He said that despite heavy public presence, the staff at the NADRA Mega Centre was effectively managing the rush and performing their duties efficiently.
Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the efforts of the NADRA Mega Centre staff and acknowledged their role in providing better services to the public.
He stressed the importance of further improving facilities so citizens can receive essential services in a smooth and convenient manner.
