Religious scholars and Zakireen are delivering sermons highlighting the teachings, courage and sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), as well as the significance of the tragedy of Karbala and its enduring message of truth, justice and perseverance.
Traditional Alam, Taazia and Zuljanah processions are also being taken out in different parts of the country to honor the unparalleled sacrifices made by Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions for the preservation of Islam.
Stringent security arrangements have been put in place nationwide to ensure the peaceful observance of Ashura, with law enforcement agencies deployed along procession routes and at major religious gatherings to prevent any untoward incidents.
