Karachi (Web Desk): Meta-owned WhatsApp has launched a new feature powered by artificial intelligence that provides users with concise summaries of their unread messages. This innovation allows users to grasp the essence of long chats without having to read every message in detail.
According to tech experts, the feature summarizes all unread messages in both private and group chats into a few sentences. Meta states that this functionality operates under ‘private processing’ technology, ensuring complete security of user data. Neither WhatsApp nor Meta has access to the messages or their summaries.
Users can enable or disable this feature through the ‘Advanced Chat Privacy’ settings and can choose which chats they want the summary service to be active in.
This new feature is especially helpful for individuals who receive numerous messages but have limited time to read them. Currently, it is available in the United States, with plans to roll it out in other countries and languages in the near future.
