Malaysia backs Pakistan's proposal to host US‑Iran dialogue

Kuala Lumpur (Web Desk): Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim, has expressed his endorsement of Pakistan’s offer to host peace talks between the United States and Iran to address the ongoing Middle East conflict.

In a post shared on the social media platform X, he described the proposal by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif as coming at a crucial juncture, highlighting its potential to create a favorable environment for meaningful negotiations.

Anwar Ibrahim added that Malaysia fully supports this initiative and encouraged both Washington and Tehran to respond in the constructive spirit in which it was presented.
