Tabuk governor praises Pakistan's outstanding diplomatic achievements

Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday received a telephone call from Prince Fahd Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of Tabuk, during which the two leaders exchanged views on regional developments and bilateral relations.

During the conversation, Prince Fahd Bin Sultan congratulated the prime minister on Pakistan’s successful diplomatic engagement that helped pave the way for the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding signed between Iran and the United States.

He commended Pakistan’s efforts in promoting dialogue and reducing tensions in the region.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked the governor for his warm sentiments and said Pakistan remained committed to supporting initiatives aimed at fostering peace, stability and constructive engagement across the region.

He noted that such efforts had been strengthened by the cooperation and support of friendly nations, particularly Saudi Arabia.

Recalling the longstanding and brotherly relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, the prime minister conveyed his profound appreciation to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his continued goodwill and support for Pakistan.

The prime minister also invited Prince Fahd Bin Sultan to visit Pakistan, expressing confidence that such exchanges would further strengthen the close ties between the two countries.
