Diplomatic boost for Pakistan as Trump praises leadership and US Congress introduces peace resolution

Washington DC / Islamabad  (Web Desk): Pakistan’s importance has once again been acknowledged in American political circles, as US President Donald Trump openly praised the Pakistani leadership while a resolution describing Pakistan as a “flag bearer of peace” was introduced in the US Congress.

In his recent remarks, President Trump expressed full confidence in Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, stating that Pakistan’s current civilian and military leadership is playing an effective role in maintaining regional stability.

Trump also revealed that, in response to a special request from Pakistan, he ordered the suspension of “Project Freedom,” a move being viewed as a significant development in bilateral relations.
