PTI founder to receive another eye treatment injection on March 24: minister

Islamabad (Web Desk): Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Tariq Fazal Chaudhary on Tuesday stated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder will undergo a second eye injection on March 24 as part of his ongoing medical treatment.

In a post shared on his X account, the minister stated that the PTI founder was taken to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) under stringent security measures to receive the next phase of his eye care procedure.

He maintained that the transfer from Adiala Jail to the hospital was conducted after meeting all legal formalities and humanitarian considerations.

Chaudhry further said that medical specialists had noted improvement in the PTI founder’s eyesight following the initial injection. He added after doctors granted clearance, he was transported back to Adiala Jail.

Chaudhary emphasized that ensuring access to medical treatment for inmates in line with the law is a constitutional duty, adding that the entire process was handled transparently and in accordance with prescribed regulations.
