Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24-karat gold saw a significant rise, increasing by Rs1,500 per tola, reaching Rs309,500, compared to the previous day’s value of Rs308,000.
According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs1,286, settling at Rs265,346, up from Rs264,060. In parallel, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold experienced an increase of Rs1,179, moving from Rs242,063 to Rs243,242.
The silver market also saw price adjustments, with the per tola rate rising by Rs15, now standing at Rs3,395, while the cost of 10 grams of silver went up by Rs13, reaching Rs2,910.
In the international market, the price of gold surged by $12, reaching $2,948, compared to the previous price of $2,936, while silver saw a smaller increase of $0.16, moving from $32.44 to $32.60.
