Rawalpindi (Web Desk): A suicide bomber, along with four other Indian-sponsored Khwarij, was killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by security forces in Balochistan’s Pishin district, the military’s media wing said on Monday.
According to a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the entire tashkeel with multiple weapons. After an intense fire exchange, suicide bomber kharji cowardly blew himself up and four other Indian-sponsored Khwarij were hunted down and sent to hell.
The statement said that weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.
The military’s media wing said that sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-backed terrorist found in the area.
“Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country,” the ISPR said.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have praised the security forces for a successful action against militants in Balochistan’s Pishin district.
In a statement released on Monday, President Zardari paid homage to the forces for carrying out an IBO targeting terrorists identified as Fitna al-Khawarij in Pishin, Balochistan.

The president reaffirmed that the campaign against extremism would persist until the threat is fully eliminated.
PM also appreciated the security personnel for killing four militants linked to what he described as the Indian proxy Fitna al-Khawarij in Pishin.
A statement from the PM Office Media Wing said the premier observed that under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision, the armed forces have been making significant progress in counterterrorism efforts.
