Karachi (Web Desk): The Sindh High Court’s (SHC) election tribunal on Tuesday declared Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Vawda eligible to contest Senate polls.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate Qadir Khan Mandokhail has appeal against approval of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader’s nomination papers for the March 3 Senate elections.
After hearing the arguments, the tribunal rejected Mandokhail’s plea and upheld the ECP’s decision.
The media was barred from covering the hearing, directing the media representatives to leave the courtroom.
