Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Foreign Minister of China Wang Yi, who is on official visit to Pakistan, held a meeting with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in Islamabad, the military’s media wing said on Friday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), discussions focused on regional security, counter-terrorism and matters of mutual interest.

It added that both sides reaffirmed their resolve to strengthen the all-weather strategic partnership and enhance coordination at regional and international forums.
As per the military’s media wing, FM Wang Yi reiterated China’s steadfast support for Pakistan’s sovereignty and development.
COAS Asim Munir expressed gratitude for China’s consistent support.
“The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to advance peace, stability and prosperity in the region,” the ISPR said.
