PSL 11: Peshawar Zalmi defeat Karachi Kings by 7 wickets

Lahore  (Web Desk): In the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 11, Peshawar Zalmi defeated Karachi Kings by 7 wickets in a one-sided match at the Gaddafi Stadium.

Karachi Kings, after winning the toss, opted to bat first and scored 182 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their 20 overs. Jason Roy was the standout performer with 85 runs, while Azam Khan contributed 35.

For Peshawar Zalmi, young fast bowler Ali Raza made history by completing a hat-trick in the final three deliveries of the innings and finished with four wickets in total. He became the youngest bowler to take a hat-trick in PSL history and the seventh overall player to achieve the milestone in the league.

In response, Peshawar Zalmi chased the target comfortably in the 19th over, losing only three wickets. Kusal Mendis played a brilliant unbeaten innings of 80 runs, while Farhan Yousaf also remained not out with 58 runs.

With this victory, Peshawar Zalmi registered their eighth win of the tournament and maintained their position at the top of the points table. They remain unbeaten with 17 points from nine matches, including one abandoned due to rain. Karachi Kings, on the other hand, are placed seventh with 6 points from eight matches.
