Islamabad (Web Desk): An anti terrorism court (ATC) in Islamabad on Saturday issued non- bailable arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and several other leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) besides declaring Tanvir Butt proclaimed offender.
The pre-arrest arrest plea of Ali Amin Gandapur came up for hearing Saturday in the court led by judge Tahir Abbass in case of terrorism, vandalism and attack on judicial complex registered in police station I-9 against PTI leaders.
Counsel Raja Zahoor-ul-Hassan filed exemption from attendance plea in the court in respect of Ali Amin Gandapur.
Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra said that last time plea for exemption from attendance was given on September 4 but the health recovered on September 8 in public meeting.
Dismissing the plea, the court issued non-bailable arrest warrants of KP CM Ali Amin
Gandapur, and other PTI leaders including Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi, Raja Rashid Hafeez and Aamir Mehmood Kiyani. Umer Tanvir Butt was declared proclaimed offender due to his persistent absence.
However, the court accepted exemption plea of Faisal Javed and adjourned the hearing of the case till October 3.
