Gold price increases by Rs4,700 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): Gold prices continued their upward trend in Pakistan on Tuesday, with the price of the precious metal witnessing another sharp increase in the local market.

According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs4,700 per tola, taking it to Rs429,236.

The association said the price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs4,029, reaching Rs368,000.

The rise in domestic gold prices followed gains in the international market, where the price of gold climbed by $47 to $4,068 per ounce.

The latest increase comes a day after gold prices also moved higher, with the per-tola rate rising by Rs300 to close at Rs424,536, reflecting continued strength in both local and global bullion markets.
