Lahore (Staff Report/Agencies): An anti-narcotics court on Friday rejected Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Rana Sanaullah’s bail petition.
However, special central judge Khalid Bashir, accepted bail pleas for five of his aides, who were also co-accused in the case.
On July 1st, the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested Rana Sanaullah from Motorway near Sukheki while he was on his way to Lahore from Faisalabad to head a meeting of his party's parliamentary advisory board.
Sanaullah is accused of having contact with drug suppliers. He is also accused of funding some proscribed organisations.
The former Punjab law minister was appointed president of PML-N Punjab in May this year.
