Security forces kill three terrorists in separate Balochistan operations: ISPR

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): Security forces killed three terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, the so-called Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), in two separate engagements in Balochistan, the military’s media wing said on Monday.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), own troops effectively engaged the terrorists' location in an intelligence-based operation in general area Gishkur, Awaran district and after an intense fire exchange, Indian sponsored terrorist Younas was killed. Two Indian sponsored terrorists also got injured during the operation.

“In another engagement in Turbat city, Kech District, security forces successfully neutralized two Indian sponsored terrorists including a ring leader Sabr Ullah,” the statement said.

It added that ammunition and explosives were recovered from the killed Indian sponsored terrorists, who remained actively involved in multiple terrorist activities against the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) and target killing of innocent civilians.

The military’s media wing said that sanitization operations were being conducted to eliminate any terrorists present in the area.

“Security forces of Pakistan, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts by Indian proxies to sabotage peace, stability and progress of Balochistan,” the ISPR said.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday paid tribute to security forces for eliminating three terrorists in two different operations in Balochistan.

In their separate statements, the President and the premier appreciated the professionalism and timely action of the security forces against the Indian agenda.

In a statement, the president lauded the security forces for killing three terrorists of Indian proxy during the intelligence-based operations.

“The security forces will continue their operations till the complete eradication of terrorists,” President Zardari said.

He said it was a matter of satisfaction that the security forces of Pakistan undertook successful operations to end terrorism.

“Pakistan has an unwavering determination to kill terrorist elements and defend the country,” the president added.

President Zardari expressed the national resolve to completely wipe out terrorism from the country.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Monday paid tribute to security forces for killing three and arresting two injured terrorists of the Indian supported terrorist organization Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) in Kech and Awaran districts of Balochistan.

He commended the security forces for their professional expertise and for taking timely action against Indian agenda.

The prime minister said that the Indian conspiracy of putting in danger the life and property of innocent and unarmed citizens in Balochistan by perpetrating terrorism has been exposed.

“We will foil the nefarious designs of India to undermine peace and security in Pakistan,” he said.

PM Shehbaz said that the government and security forces were determined to completely end terrorism from the country, he added.
