Rawalpindi (Web Desk): The security forces killed two terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted by security forces in Balochistan’s Kech district, the military’s media wing said on Friday.
According to the Inter -Services Public Relations (ISPR), own troops effectively engaged the terrorists' location during the operation.
“The killed terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area against the law enforcement agencies as well as the innocent civilians,” the statement said.
The military’s media wing said that sanitization operation was being conducted to eliminate any other terrorist found in the area.
“The security forces of Pakistan, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts at sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Balochistan,” the ISPR said.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday paid tribute to the security forces for killing two terrorists in an OBI in Buleda area of Kech district.
In a statement, President Zardari appreciated the bravery of the security forces for eliminating the terrorists during the operation.
“The entire nation stands with its security forces against terrorism as the forces are carrying out operations to eliminate terrorism,” he said.
President Zardari reiterated commitment to complete eradication of terrorism from the country.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid tribute to the security forces for killing two terrorists in Buleda area of Kech district.
“The nation is proud of the fearless officers and soldiers of the security forces. The nefarious intentions of the enemies of humanity will continue to be crushed in the same way,” he said.
The prime minister said that that Pakistan’s war against terrorists would continue until the complete eradication of terrorism from the country.
