California (Web Desk): YouTube is introducing a series of new design changes to improve the overall video viewing experience and make the interface less cluttered.
Under the updated layout, the area below videos—where users previously saw channel details, comments access, and subscription options—will be redesigned for a cleaner appearance. Instead of displaying full channel information, only the channel logo and username will be shown.
At the same time, action buttons such as like, dislike, share, and the AI-powered “Ask” feature will be arranged in a single row next to the channel information.
Options like save, download, and report will be moved into an overflow menu to reduce visual clutter.
YouTube is also making the video title larger and more readable to improve user experience.
According to reports from Android Authority, the primary goal of this redesign is to simplify the interface and remove the previously crowded layout.
Another notable change is the increased prominence of the AI-based “Ask” feature, which is being highlighted more clearly in the updated design.
