Gold price increases by Rs3,800 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The price of 24 karat gold saw a notable surge, rising by Rs3,800 to reach a record high of Rs308,000 per tola on Wednesday, marking a significant increase from the previous day’s closing of Rs304,200.

According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association (APSGJA), in a similar upward movement, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold climbed by Rs3,258, reaching Rs264,060, compared to Rs260,802 in the previous trading session.

The price for 10 grams of 22 karat gold also experienced a rise, increasing by Rs2,986 to Rs242,063, up from Rs239,077.

Silver prices also reflected an upward trend, with the cost of per tola silver going up by Rs90, reaching Rs3,440, while, the price of 10 grams of silver rose by Rs77 to Rs2,949. 

In the global market, gold prices saw a gain of $34, moving from $2,910 to $2,944 per ounce.

Meanwhile, the price of silver increased by $0.51, now standing at $32.96 per ounce.
