Pakistan Army continues relief operations in flood-hit areas

Rawalpindi (Web Desk): The Pakistan Army continues to extend relief efforts in the flood-stricken districts of Bahawalpur, Alipur, and Lodhran.

According to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), military teams, working hand in hand with the local administration, remain engaged in providing assistance to people living along the banks of the Sutlej River who have been affected by the floods.

In coordination with other departments, the Army is focusing on the rehabilitation of those displaced by the disaster.

To address urgent health needs, free medical camps have been set up in the relief centers, offering treatment and medicines to the victims.

The Corps Commander Bahawalpur also visited the affected areas to review the progress of the operations, oversee medical support being provided, and examine the rehabilitation work underway for the flood-hit population.
