Islamabad (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke over the phone with Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand, where both leaders discussed matters of mutual diplomatic and bilateral interest.
According to Foreign Office (FO), during the conversation, the Canadian foreign minister praised Pakistan’s constructive role in facilitating diplomatic engagement and mediation between the United States (US) and Iran, which played a role in helping both sides reach an understanding.
They also talked about the upcoming meeting involving the concerned parties, which is set to take place in Bürgenstock, Switzerland on Friday.
The two sides acknowledged the positive progress in Pakistan-Canada relations and reiterated their shared commitment to broadening cooperation in multiple areas of common interest.
