Several countries intensify crackdown on illegal Afghan migrants; report

Kabul/ Ankara (Web Desk): Several countries have strengthened their measures against undocumented Afghan migrants, resulting in a series of fresh detentions.

According to the Afghan newspaper Hasht-e Subh, Polish authorities apprehended 71 undocumented migrants, including a number of Afghan nationals, during an operation targeting illegal immigration.

In a separate development, Afghan International reported that Turkish police arrested 20 Afghan nationals who were residing illegally in the city of Bolu.

Meanwhile, Türkiye's Immigration Agency disclosed that 19,574 Afghan nationals were taken into custody across the country during the first six months of this year as part of ongoing efforts to combat illegal migration.
