5 suspected suicide bombers arrested as security forces thwart infiltration attempt at Pak-Afghan border

Islamabad (Web Desk): Security forces successfully prevented an infiltration attempt by Khawarij militants from the Afghan border, arresting five suspected suicide bombers.

According to security sources, the militants crossed into Pakistani territory and moved towards the Azizkhel and Mandikhel areas. Upon encountering the presence of security forces, they took refuge in a mosque located in the Besikhel area.

Security forces quickly surrounded the mosque, and due to a well-planned strategy, the militants surrendered without resistance.

All arrested individuals are Afghan nationals, with three carrying Afghan national identity cards. They have been transferred to an undisclosed location for further investigation.
