Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday on Tuesday directed the ministry of religious affairs to ensure thorough planning and efficient arrangements for Pakistani pilgrims with provision of best facilities during Hajj 2027.
He made the remarks during a meeting with Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, who called on the prime minister at the Prime Minister House.
The federal minister briefed the premier on the latest progress concerning preparations for the forthcoming Hajj.
He also updated him on the functioning of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the initiatives being undertaken by it.
PM Shehbaz directed the authorities concerned to finalise every necessary arrangement well ahead of the pilgrimage.
He emphasised that timely preparations were essential to provide maximum ease to Pakistani pilgrims and enable them to perform Hajj in a peaceful, comfortable and hassle-free manner.
