Lahore (Web Desk): Prof. Dr. Chaudhry Abdul Rehman, Chairman of the Association of Private Sector Universities of Pakistan (APSUP), is leading a delegation of Pakistani universities at European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference in Toulouse, France, to showcase Pakistan’s positive image and open doors for global opportunities in the higher education sector.
The delegation includes vice chancellors, directors and deans of renowned universities of Pakistan.
For the first time in the history, a delegation of renowned private universities of Pakistan, on the basis of self-funding basis, is decorating the Pakistan Pavilion in the four-day expo and conference to make Europe its partner in the field of high-quality education and research in Pakistan which will create new opportunities for cooperation in the field of higher education between Europe and Pakistan.
According to APSUP, through the Pakistan Pavilion, partnership agreements will be signed with the European universities, especially in the field of research. The agreements include exchange of students and faculty, joint research partnerships etc.
The Pakistan Pavilion will be inaugurated at 12 o'clock (Pakistani Time) on Wednesday.
It is pertinent to mention that the EAIE has been the leading platform for future planning and challenges in education for the past 34 years.
This year, more than 7,000 international higher education professionals and delegations from over 1,400 universities are expected to attend EAIE Conference and Exhibition in Toulouse.
