Gold price decreases by Rs200 per tola in Pakistan

Karachi (Web Desk): The fluctuation in gold prices continued on Wednesday, with a slight decline recorded in both local and global markets.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of gold in the domestic market fell by Rs200 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs455,236 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs170, settling at Rs389,684.

Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction, with the rate of silver increasing by Rs44 per tola to reach Rs7,497 in the local market.

In the international market, gold prices also witnessed a decline, falling by $20 per ounce to $4,328.

It is worth noting that a day earlier, the local gold market had recorded a sharp increase of Rs10,800 per tola.
