Sindh govt lifts closing time restrictions for markets, restaurants

Karachi (Web Desk): The Government of Sindh has taken a major decision aimed at promoting economic activity and facilitating the public by removing all restrictions on business operating hours across the province.

A formal notification has been issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department.

Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon announced that shops, markets, shopping malls, hotels, restaurants, food outlets, wedding halls, and marquees across the province, including Karachi, will now operate without any time limitations. All business centers are free to function according to their own schedules.

He said the provincial government believes in strengthening economic activity, supporting traders, and providing relief to citizens.

The decision has been taken to ensure smoother business operations and to accelerate economic momentum in the province.

The move has been widely welcomed by the business community, which says the step will not only boost commercial activity but also improve convenience for shoppers and consumers.
