Quetta (Staff Report): Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has taken oath as Balochistan Assembly Speaker.
Bizenjo got 39 votes while his opponent Nawaz Kakar secured 20 votes.
The law makers in Balochistan Assembly on Thursday voted for the positions of Speaker and Deputy Speaker.
Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) and its allies have nominated Abdul Quddus Bizenjo for the post of speaker while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has nominated Sardar Babar Musa Khel for the position of deputy speaker.
Outgoing Speaker Rahila Hamid Khan Durrani chaired the session and administered the oath taking ceremony.
